Folk tales can be studied from various aspects and dimensions, including the rhetorical dimension. In this article, the three Kurdish stories "Shur Mahmoud and Marzingan", "Sheikh Farrokh and Khatun Esti" and "Sheikh Sanan", which were compiled by Qader Fattahi Ghazi, have been analyzed and examined from a rhetorical point of view. The descriptions given in these stories have found special rhetorical effects in accordance with the thought and life of Kurdish speakers.
. While rhetorically examining the descriptions of the mentioned stories, we have also adapted them with similar examples in Persian poetry texts and folk poems. The result of these analyzes and comparisons is that these three Kurdish folk poems are intellectually and linguistically very similar to the style of the Khorasani period and are also lyrical in terms of literary types; However, compared to the examples of Persian order texts, the element of simile in them has a higher frequency.
Further searches in the rhetorical analysis of the mentioned stories showed that the metaphorical rhetoric of these stories is similar to the rhetoric of folk poems, especially folk couplets, but there are many cases in these stories that are special and unique and within the search of the authors. There is no similarity for them in official literature and folk poetry.
