In the process of changing the word from normal level âinfo literal and artistic level, poetic images or imaginary âvisions play an undeniable role.â
Any poetâs imagination take roots in his or his or her âpersonality and outside or inside way of living which appear âconsciously or unconsciously in his or her poems.â
On of the most outstanding backgrounds or basis of âusing images or visions is the description of the nature. In âusing various and colorful descriptions of the nature in âPersian literature, the sceneries of sunrise and sunset have got âa luminous shinning. â
The main goal of the present thesis is to survey the âimages of sunrise and sunset in two of- the outstanding works âof the Persian literature i.e. âShahnamehâ and âKhosro and âShirinâ. Ferdosi and Nezami have created various and âcolorful images of describing coming morning and nights that âthinking about them makes the reader familiar with two âoutstanding poets and their poems literal value. â
In this survey, images have been researched from âdifferent aspects the way of using colors, aristocracy and âmilitary elements and also elements taken by nature.â
