About Journal
Journal of Linguistic and Rhetorical studies is an open-access quarterly journal founded by Semnan University in 2010. As the name suggests, the journal basically focuses on linguistic and rhetorical studies and accepts original articles, short communications, and letters to the editor. In 2017, this journal was awarded scientific-research accreditation by the Scientific Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (Iran). In 2021, the publishing frequency of the journal was rescheduled to quarterly.
Open Access Policy
Journal of Linguistic and Rhetorical studies is a fully open-access journal, and all its articles are available online free of charge to all users, immediately upon publication. All content of the Journal is published under the open access license of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), allowing free and unrestricted access to users. All authors are given the option to make articles available under the terms of the license (CC-BY 4.0).

The definition of the Creative Commons CC BY License, as stated on the Creative Commons website, outlines its terms and condition as below
"This license lets others distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon your work, even commercially, as long as they credit you for the original creation. This is the most compatible of licenses for maximum publication and use of licensed materials."
Copyright Policy
Under license (CC-BY 4.0), copyright in any article published by Journal of Linguistic and Rhetorical Studies is retained by the author(s), but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, distribute, and copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited properly. Authors retain unrestricted copyrights and publishing rights such as the right to reuse, distribute, republish, etc.
